KATHUA: SSP Kathua R C Kotwal on Monday held a Darbar with jawans at District Police Lines Kathua. Other officers including Addl SP Kathua Suresh Kumar Chib along with all supervisory officers/ SHOs of Kathua district were present.
Approximately 90-100 jawans including 20 NGOs of various Police establishments of District Police Kathua participated in the Darbar. Grievances raised by NGOs and jawans were addressed on spot and directions given to the concerned to do the needful within a week’s time. Addressing the Darbar, the SSP Kathua appreciated the role of Kathua Police in tackling the situation of COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition to this, the SSP Kathua advised the jawans to focus on their duties and maintain discipline. It was impressed upon the officers/officials to gain public confidence, good will and always be compassionate and helpful to the needy people. Officers/officials were also directed to listen the grievances of people patiently.
The SSP Kathua exhorted the officers and jawans to keep good work with sincere efforts and be alert while performing their duties.
