JAMMU: President BJP Jammu and Kashmir UT, Ravinder Raina has said that Kashmiri Hindus is a community of intellectuals and are ambassadors of nationalism all over the globe and BJP has always stood by them during their struggle in exile and will continue to stand with them to ensure that justice is meted out to the community at all costs.
Addressing a workshop of displaced district here, today Raina emphasised on the need to resolve all the voting registration and voting process anomalies of the community so that all those who have been left out till date also get registered and they can perform their voting rights without facing any tedious process. General secretary (organization) Ashok Koul, while addressing the Karyakartas emphasised on the need of personally visiting the households of KP community to share with them the policies and schemes of the Modi Government and to note down the problems and issues being faced by the community and try to resolve them at the earliest by taking up the matter with the concerned authorities.
He also took the stock of the various works and programmes conducted by the displaced district team in last couple of months and appreciated their efforts. Former MLC and Party spokesperson, GL Raina said that BJP KDD is always working on the ground to mitigate the sufferings of the community members and emphasised the need to increase the voting registrations so that no one is left out in exercising their voting rights .He also spoke about the various steps which the Government will be taking for making the voting process simpler and easy for the community. Chand Ji Bhat district president spoke about the various programmes and works executed by the district team in last couple of months despite the hard times of Corona and complimented the party leadership for extending every possible help to the Kashmir displaced district. The stage at the workshop was managed by H K Razdan, general secretary BJP KDD along with Vimal Raina election incharge.
The others who were present on the occasion were district vice presidents, Shiban Pandit J L Pandita, Bharat Gosani, spokesperson Rajeev Pandita, treasurer Rakesh Sadhu, Mahila Morcha president Dolly, Yuva Morcha president Rahul Koul and All the Mandal presidents including Nana Ji Raina and booth presidents.
