Video of Kashmiri man’s heroic attempt to save three drowning boys at Sindh river goes viral

SRINAGAR: A video of a Kashmiri man jumping into a freezing and violently gushing river to rescue three stranded boys has gone viral. Most parts of the Jammu region have been receiving heavy rains for the past few days.

Reportedly, one of the teens, who is supposed to be a good swimmer, got stuck after there was a sudden increase in the water levels at the Sindh river in Ganderbal District. The 38-year-old Kashmiri man, who is known in the area for his exceptional swimming skills, was called in for help.

Video of the entire incident has gone viral. IAS officer Shah Fesal took to the microblogging website, and shared the video of the incident. He praised Bashir, his dear friend, for his bravery.
