An ATM theft attempt was foiled by the security guard today in Jammu. The incident happened on Thursday morning when 3 thieves tried to loot the SBI ATM cash at Satwari and the security guard got hold of one of them.
“2 men in civil clothes visited the ATM. They were keeping a check at the machine when third person in guard’s clothes came. As they tried to extract money from the machine, I attacked them. I caught the one in guard’s dress and handed him to the Police while the other 2 ran away.” the ATM guard said
The ATM guard when praised about his bravery said “It is my duty to protect people’s cash. I didn’t fear the thieves because I’m assigned to this job.”
