JAMMU: Raghubir Singh Bali, AICC secretary and in-charge West Bengal has said that people of Jammu and Kashmir and elsewhere are fed-up with lies-riddle policies and misrule of BJP and longing for a change.
Bali who was here on personal visit told the media that the BJP leadership is only proficient in selling lies which it did very well in J&K also. He said that problems which the people of trouble-torn J&K were facing since long, have been increased manifold under the BJP Government with no respite coming to sight in near future.
AICC secy said that his sole aim is to accomplish the mission set in by the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in providing succour to masses by way of rendering selfless service and highlighting the misdeeds of ruling party at the Centre. He said issues which the common man is confronting right now are mainly due to BJP’s thoughtless push to directionless policies.
“Unprecedented hike in fuel prices, ruthless farm bills, diplomacy at lowest ebb with China, Nepal and Pakistan, inflation touching new heights, democratic institutions facing threat, and what not”, he said is the gift of BJP to people, adding that it was Rahul Gandhi who raised these issues vociferously and forced ruling party to go on back foot many times.
Bali make it a point that not only J&K but other States across the country are also yearning for the change as BJP has done nothing on ground except crafting new ‘Jumlas’ on all the issues which concern common man. Bali said that bundles of lies which BJP wanted to rely on during polls are dangerously boomeranging in West Bengal as there are no takers out there and the saffron brigade is in a fix.
“The condition of BJP in Punjab and Haryana is also dismal as common masses have boycotted their leaders and in some cases blocked their entries into their hamlets and villages”, he said adding that Congress being a party of principles is all set to shine in West Bengal and other States going in for polls.
He was accompanied by Neeraj Kundan National president NSUI, Shahnawaz Choudhary DDC Member PCC general secretary, Uday Chib PYC president, Jatinder Singh BCC president, Ajaz Choudhary State vice president PYC, Sunny Parihar NSUI president J&K, Ricky and Abhijot Singh PYC general secretaries.
