JAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation sealed a premise at Sunjwan for erecting unauthorized construction and a Tuition Centre at Durga Nagar, which was being run without the JMC permission.
On the instruction of Avny Lavasa, JMC Commissioner and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Adm), the Enforcement staff led by the Chief Enforcement Officer JMC undertook a drive against the violations and unauthorized construction in the different areas falling under the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation. The team sealed the premises of Mohd Rashid at Sunjwan, Jammu for erecting unauthorized construction and also sealed the Tuition Centre of T K Raina at 324/B Sector No: 01, Durga Nagar, Jammu running without the permission of JMC.
The sealing of the unauthorized constructions have been taken under the provisions of Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
