Kargil Courier airlifts 75 passengers

The Indian Air Force (IAF) on Wednesday airlifted 75 passengers of Kargil in Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh, Chief Coordinator, AN-32 Kargil Courier Service Aamir Ali said this afternoon.

He said AN-32 Kargil Courier, of IAF operated today and airlifted 75 passengers. As many as 21 passengers were airlifted from Kargil to Srinagar, 27 passengers, including two infants, from Srinagar to Kargil. Ali said 27 passengers were airlifted from Kargil to Jammu. The passengers were facilitated by Anwar Hussain, Liaison Officer Kargil, Mohammed Raza, Liaison Officer Srinagar and Mohammed Yusuf, Liaison Officer Jammu and their team of Assistant Liaison Officers.

The Kargil Courier has also been arranged for January 14, between Kargil-Srinagar, subject to fair weather, he said.
