Army organised a free medical camp at Darana Village, Teh Mendhar in Poonch district (J&K) that adjoins the LOC.
The aim of this medical camp was to conduct free medical check-ups, distribute medicines, and provide COVID-19 protection kits (inclusive of masks, sanitisers, soap, etc). The COVID-19 pandemic has crippled the locals’ access to medical facilities. This health drive was aimed to help the needy and elderly vulnerable population. This initiative has benefited civilians residing in far-flung areas who are in need of care and intervention.
The footfall for said event was about 100-150 residents from Darana and neighboring villages.
