BSS performs ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ for school, hospital, temple buildings

IG Registration J&K, Pawan Kotwal on Monday performed ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ for the hospital and temple building of Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) being constructed at Panjgrain near Nagrota. Appreciating the Sangha’s commitment towards the service of humanity, Pawan Kotwal congratulated the BSS on the occasion and the world wide philanthropic and selfless activities of its monks and workers. He recalled the health care services and other services provided by BSS for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra and others occasions. Pawan Kotwal observed that more such charitable and selfless organizations like the BSS would make a valuable contribution towards the upliftment of the down trodden and needy segments of the society. Prof Manoj K Dhar, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu and Manoj Singh Gaur, Director, IIT Jammu spoke on the occasion and lauded the efforts of BSS for their social welfare programmes and appealed to the Sangha to continue its humanitarian services for the disadvantaged sections of the society. Earlier, the chief guest and other dignitaries lit the ceremonial lamp and paid obeisance to Guru Maharaj. Welcome speech was presented by Swami Purnatmanandaji Maharaj, president, Bharat Sevashram Sangh. Srimat Swami Bhaskaranandaji Maharaj, Assistant Secretary, Bharat Sevashram Sangha also addressed the gathering and highlighted activities of the organization in his address. Vote of thanks was presented by Swami Atmajnanananda, general secretary, Delhi and Gurugram Branch, Bharat Sevashram Sangha. Meanwhile, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, with a motive of service towards humanity, distributed warm clothes among the poor and needy people of the area.
