On the directions of District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar D Doifode and as a precautionary measure, a health department team today conducted rapid sampling of shopkeepers, vendors and drivers, here at Pul Doda. As many as 26 persons from different occupations were tested for Covid-19 randomly through Rapid Antigen and all of them were reported negative. The District administration has stepped up RAT testing in its fight against the Coronavirus Infection across. Approximately 2108 tests were performed across the district exclusively through Rapid Antigen in the last 20 days, of which 19 tested positive. The DDC in his message has appealed the general public of the district to follow the protocol of social distancing without any fail and wear face masks compulsory in the public places. The sampling was done by District Epidemiologist Umar Anayat Khan; BMEO Ghat Mashhood Zargar, Dr Nasir Indrabi, and others.
