Four newly-recruited terrorists, including two south Kashmir youth, were held on Friday while trying to cross over to Pakistan through the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir. The arrests were made based on specific intelligence inputs about the movement of the newly recruited group’s plan to escape to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). The terrorists planned to escape via the upper reaches of the Limber area in Boniyar. A joint team of 161 TA army, Baramulla police and 53rdBattalion of Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) arrested the terrorists. The arrested youth have been identified as Adil Dar of Kulgam, Tahir Lone of Shopian, Sameer Bhat of Sopore and Naveed Parra of Pattan in Baramulla district and are handed over to the police.
