A physically challenged middle aged in Reasi setting example for other by sewing face masks free of cost and thus contributing as Corona warrior during this difficult time because of COVID-19 pandemic. 55-year old Madan Lal of Ward number 3 in Reasi town, is a tailor by profession and this is the only source of his earning bread and butter to feed a family of six members, including his wife, two children and elderly parents. However, sensing his responsibility towards the society during this difficult time, he is sewing face mask without charging anything for a NGO – `We Care’, which distributes the same among needy people. Madan Lal said that he came to know about severity of the COVID-19 through news on TV and also learnt how people were contributing in fight against this deadly pandemic. “When the members of this NGO approached me for stitching the face masks, I volunteered not to charge anything for the same,” said Madan Lal. According to `We Care’ convener Yugal Magotra, they were providing cloth and Madan Lal was stitching the masks without charging anything thus setting example for other to contribute to the society.
