J&K BJP, with the dedication of its cadre and active support from all quarters of society donated another amount of Rs 1 crore into the Prime Minister CARES Fund to fight out the Coronavirus outbreak. Earlier also J&K BJP had donated a sum of Rs 1 crore in the form of cheques and online transactions by BJP workers and party supporters to the PM Cares Fund. Till now, BJP including all former BJP MLAs, MLCs, BJP J&K office bearers, district presidents & office bearers, mandal presidents & office bearers, Government employees of Jammu region, businesspersons and common citizens, the J&K unit of BJP donated more than 2 crore rupees to PM CARES Fund. BJP J&K president Ravinder Raina accompanied by MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma, former Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta, BJP general secretaries Sunil Sharma (former Minister), Vibodh Gupta (former MLC) and Dr Devindar Kumar Manyal (former Minister) and party programme & abhiyaan coordinator Ajay Pargal and additional protocol secretary Shailender Vaid handed over bank cheques worth Rs 50,00,779 to the Manager, State Bank of India at Trikuta Nagar Branch, Jammu while till date more than Rs 50 lakh have already been donated via online transactions by BJP workers and party supporters to the PM Cares Fund. Ravinder Raina, on the occasion, said that on the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and as per directions of BJP National president JP Nadda, all BJP leaders and party activists and common masses across the J&K UT, liberally donated to the PM CARES fund to help in the fight against Corona Pandemic. We must strengthen the hands of our PM in meeting the requirements of needy population by donating liberally to the PM CARES Fund, Raina said, adding, BJP will continue its effort to generate more funds with increased force so as to further strengthen the efforts of PM Modi led Government in war against Corona.
