Due to the ongoing lockdown, 23 casual labourers travelling from Kashmir valley to Thanamandi were stranded near Chor ki Gali. These daily wagers due to the shutdown ran out of basic amenities. Indian Army provided them with basic necessities including medicines. They were also educated on precautionary measures to be followed to prevent spread of COVID-19. The civil administration and CMO were also contacted and told about their whereabouts and later all individuals were handed over to civil administration where their medical screening was carried out.
