Police drew circles on roads at various public places here to advise people on maintaining social distance and to prevent spread of Covid-19 in the district. A team of police officials led by Additional Superintendent of Police, Ganderbal Feroz Yehya, along with Station House Officer, police station Ganderbal, Khurshid Ahmed marked circles at various public places particularly outside ATMs and medical stores where people visit in large numbers.

A police official said it was important to maintain social distance to prevent the spread infection and their initiative was a step in this direction.Some people went on to share the pictures showing police marking circles on social networking sites.“Well done. Needs to be replicated all over,” tweeted senior police officer, Rayees Mohammed Bhat.
