Locals allege Government neglect; To take repair work themselves
Several roads in Mahore area of this district are in dilapidated condition, giving tough time to commuters. Locals said owing to its bad condition, the road connecting Gulabgarh village with Shadol village is closed for past than two months. “But there are no efforts from the authorities to repair the road and give relief to people,” said a local. He said the road connects eight Panchayat halqas in Gulabgarh. “We repeatedly took up the matter with the authorities but to no avail,” said another local.Similarly, the road connecting Sajroo with Mulas has also been closed, said another local, Amjad Javed. Similarly, roads connecting many areas including Sanglikote, Chasana, Budhan, Thuroo, Tuli, Sildhar, Darmari and are in dilapidated condition. People from some villages have now decided to pool the money to start repair work on their own.
