As part of the Poonch Link-Up Day Celebrations an “Artificial Limb and Mobility Equipment Distribution Camp” was organized by Army from November, 14 to 17, 2019 at Poonch. During the four day camp, beneficiaries including men, women and children from the entire district were fitted with artificial limbs. On the occasion two Tri Scooter, 20 Wheel Chairs, 15 Crutches, 22 Hearing Aids and 20 Walking Sticks were also distributed. The camp drew a lot of praise and the populace expressed their sincere appreciation to the Army for taking up this project to reintegrate the affected people with the society.
