SRINAGAR: The vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway came to standstill after landslide hits the highway here on Wednesday evening. A long line of around 1500 trucks and nearly 300 light motor vehicles were halted near Digdol area due to landslide. The road clearance operation is in process to resume traffic movement on the highway soon. Meanwhile, the 86-km long Mughal road is open for one-way traffic. The vehicles were supposed to ply from Jammu to Srinagar today on National Highway but the landslides have stopped the whole movement.
