With an aim of upliftment of youth potential in the region, Army organised a lecture on “Youth Empowerment Schemes in J&K” at Government Primary School, Mithidhara, Girls High School, Chhatral and Youth Centre, Palma in Poonch and Rajouri districts. The aim of the event was to encourage the youth to take advantage of various self-employment schemes run by Central / State Government for youth empowerment. The lecture was followed by an interactive session to answer the various queries raised by the youth. They were further enlightened to empower themselves through education to fulfill their moral, social and legal obligations towards the society and nation. The audience conveyed their gratitude for the service being rendered by the Army to educate the local populace and help in skill development.
