Rich Harvest School observed Earth Day with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility towards the environment. The day was marked by a series of thoughtful activities aimed at instilling environmental consciousness among students and staff.
The celebration began with a solemn Earth Day pledge, where students reaffirmed their commitment to protect and preserve the planet. This was followed by a plantation drive within the school premises, symbolizing hope, growth and a greener future. Students actively participated in planting saplings, understanding the importance of trees in sustaining life on Earth.
A unique and spiritually uplifting activity was conducted in the form of collective healing of Mother Earth, where students and teachers came together to send positive vibrations for the well-being of the planet. This reflective practice emphasized the power of intention, unity and mindful living. Adding her thoughts on the occasion, Ms. Anita Bhatia, Head of the Institute, remarked, “Earth Day is a reminder that the future of our planet lies in our daily actions. By nurturing nature and fostering awareness among our students, we are shaping responsible global citizens.” Through these initiatives, Rich Harvest School reinforced the message that every small step counts in nurturing and protecting our environment. The celebration served as a reminder that caring for the Earth is not just a responsibility but a way of life.
