Called BCCI’s decision as attack on national sentiments , PM silence was also questioned

As part of the nationwide “Mera Sindoor-Mera Desh” movement declared by Shiv Sena (UBT) party chief Uddhav Thackeray against the India-Pakistan cricket match to be played in UAE under the Asia Cup competition, the party’s state unit leaders today took to the streets in Jammu and Kashmir and staged strong protests and called the permission for the match an act of insulting vermilion, martyrs and an act that hurts the national sentiments of crores of Indians.
Under the leadership of state chief Manish Sahni, the Shiv Sainiks gathered at the Maharaja Hari Singh statue site on the Tawi Bridge in Jammu and staged a strong protest holding placards with the words “Mera Sindoor-Mera Desh”, ‘Cricket with Pakistan, an insult to vermilion and martyred soldiers’, ‘An attack on the national sentiments of crores of Indians’.
Manish Sahni said in his address that the anger of the mothers and sisters whose sindoor was destroyed during the Pahalgam massacre has not subsided yet. By decided to play the match with Pakistan, BCCI and the Central Government have rubbed salt on their wounds. BCCI is busy filling its coffers by hurting the national sentiments of 140 crore Indians. Our Prime Minister, who used to boast of sindoor and not blood in his veins, has also maintained silence.
Sahni said that Pakistan is that tail which will never be straight. Even after Operation Sindoor, Pakistan’s arrogance has not ended. Hollow threats of increasing nuclear power are being given. Infiltration from across the border, nurturing of terrorists and launching bases are being made.
Sahni said that the dirty game of betting also reaches its peak during the India-Pakistan cricket match and a large part of this money is used to nurture terrorists. Sahni said that there is still time for the Prime Minister to immediately intervene and order the cancellation of the match. If the government continues its stubborn attitude, then Indians living in the country and abroad should completely boycott this match.
