Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of Shri Kailakh Jyotish avim Vedic Sansthan Trust, Jammu & Kashmir, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Piyush Singla, IAS, Secretary, Information Technology Department, Jammu & Kashmir, who is also holding additional charge as Secretary, Information Department and General Administration Depar-tment, Jammu & Kashmir. During the meeting, Mahant Rohit Shastri shared detailed information with Dr. Singla regarding the activities run by the trust, including the promotion of the Sanskrit language (Devavani), social service initiatives, and efforts being made to preserve cultural heritage.
Mahant Rohit Shastri also presented copies of important texts and books published by the trust and explained that the organization is continuously striving to connect the youth with the Sanskrit language and Indian culture, aiming to bring positive change to society. He emphasized that the trust’s primary objective is to promote awareness, cooperation, and humanitarian values in society through its service activities. Dr. Singla appreciated the efforts of the trust and stated that these initiatives in the fields of language, culture, and social upliftment are highly inspiring. He expressed his hope that such endeavors will strengthen the spirit of service, cultural values, and social responsibility among the youth and contribute to the holistic development of society.
