Training Programmes on Natural Farming for Farmers registered under National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF) were today held at Dadpeth and Khanpora villages by KVK Kishtwar. The Training programmes were meant for awareness and capacity building of the farmers in Natural Farming Practices.
More than 50 farmers, farmwomen attended the programmes held at both the places. The programmes were held under the guidance of Dr AmrishVaid, Director Extension SKUAST Jammu. Dr Narinder Paul Incharge KVK Kishtwar organized the programmes. During the programme, the participants were briefed about the concept of Natural farming and different Natural farming formulations like Jeevamrit and Beejamrit . Demonstrations on preparation of Jeevamritand Beejamritwere conducted by Dr Narinder Paul to practically train the participants on its preparation at their own. Training sessions impressed upon to undergo the natural farming practices for bring about sustainability in the farming and production of quality food besides maintaining the environmental balance.
AjunParihar Assistant Floriculre officer Kishtwar, Khurshid Ahmad, Shabir Ahmad, Dr Shannawaz Ahmad, SuamayaBanno and UsmaRasool Krishisakhis were also present duringthe programme.
