BJP District President Ramban and former MLA, Neelam Langeh, today led the celebrations of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti at District Office Ramban, paying rich tributes to the architect of the Indian Constitution and a pioneer of social justice.
Addressing a large gathering of party workers, social activists, and members of the local SC community, Neelam Langeh highlighted the timeless legacy of Dr. Ambedkar, stating, “Baba Saheb dedicated his entire life to fight for the rights of the marginalized. It is our collective responsibility to walk on the path shown by him and work towards building an egalitarian society.”
Langeh emphasized that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP government has been relentlessly working to fulfill Ambedkar’s vision of an inclusive and progressive India. He also mentioned various welfare schemes launched for the upliftment of Scheduled Castes and other backward communities, including financial assistance, educational support, and skill development initiatives.
“Dr. Ambedkar’s message of liberty, equality, and fraternity continues to inspire millions across the country. The BJP is committed to ensuring that his dream of social justice becomes a living reality,” Langeh asserted.
Floral tributes were paid to Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait, and the event concluded with patriotic slogans and a pledge to promote unity, dignity, and empowerment for all sections of society. Several BJP leaders, local representatives, and youth leaders also participated in the event and expressed their admiration for Dr. Ambedkar’s extraordinary contributions to the nation.
Among those who were present included Puran Chand, Prabhari Ramban, Renuka Katoch DDC, Jagvir Dass DDC, Gurdeep Singh General Secretary, Anchal Singh Chib Vice President, Madhan Singh Vice President, Mohd Ali Sohil, Suman Kumari Secretary, Bashim Narian Secretary, Choor Singh Mandal Pradhan Maitra, Ramesh Singh Mandal Pradhan Ramban and others.
