The two-day Flower Show organized under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai here at the scenic Jakhani Park, concluded today amid an overwhelming response from the public.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from people from across the district, who turned up in large numbers to admire the vibrant display of blooming flowers and enjoy a host of cultural activities.
On the concluding day, Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh graced the occasion as the chief Guest. He lauded the efforts of the different departments for successful completion of the event. He said that such a colorful and meaningful event not only celebrates nature but also promotes social awareness through creative expression.
The second day of the Flower Show came alive with captivating cultural performances presented by local and Information department artists and students. The major highlight of the day was a powerful Nukkad Natak focusing on the ill effects of drug abuse, which left a lasting impact on the audience and emphasized the importance of a drug-free society.
The event concluded on a high note, leaving the visitors with beautiful memories and a renewed appreciation for nature and community-driven awareness initiatives.
The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr Umesh Shan and district heads of other departments besides local people, Students of various educational institutions.
