The ongoing signature campaign led by Movement Kalki demanding ‘Rashtra Mata’ status for Gau Mata is witnessing growing public support across various parts of the Jammu region. As part of this initiative, a series of programmes were organized at multiple locations, including Gudda Bakshi Nagar, Chenani, Akhnoor, and Baba Wali Mata, drawing participation from a wide cross-section of society.
A major highlight of the day was a grand programme organized at Durga Mandir on the occasion of Bhagwan Shri Parshuram Jayanti. The event was conducted under the leadership of Rajkumar and featured traditional rituals such as Havan and Yagya, followed by the distribution of Langar Prasad. A large number of devotees attended the programme and expressed their support for the protection of Gau Mata and the campaign seeking national recognition. Prominent members of Movement Kalki, including Deepak Singh, Pritam Sharma, Anil Arora, Anuradha, Deepak Sharma, and Satpal Sharma were present on the occasion, along with respected citizens, women, children, and senior members of the community. During the event, Sadhvi Aradhana Gopal Devi delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the cultural and spiritual importance of Gau Mata and urging people to actively support the campaign.
In Chenani, a signature campaign was carried out under the leadership of Thakur Karnail Chand, in collaboration with local groups and volunteers. Residents were made aware of the significance of Gau Mata protection, and a team was constituted to submit a memorandum to the concerned tehsil authorities on April 27. The initiative witnessed encouraging participation from locals, reflecting growing awareness and engagement at the grassroots level.
Meanwhile, in Akhnoor, the occasion of Parshuram Jayanti was marked by the organization of a grand tableau depicting Gau Mata in the form of ‘Rashtra Mata’. The procession attracted attention and participation from people across the area. The event was attended by Gaurav Sharma, Rahul Langer, Rabia Khajuria, Vikrant Sharma, Sonu Salathia, along with other team members and supporters.
Another significant programme was organized at Baba Wali Mata, where a signature campaign was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Sudesh Kumar. Devotees visiting the shrine actively participated in the campaign, signing in large numbers and voicing their appeal to the government to grant ‘Rashtra Mata’ status to Gau Mata. The enthusiastic response at the religious site highlighted the emotional and cultural connect people have with the cause.
Movement Kalki has appealed to the wider Sanatan society to come together and support the campaign. The organization announced that on April 27, 2026, memorandums signed across various tehsils in the country will be submitted to the President, Prime Minister, Governors, and Chief Ministers, urging them to grant national recognition to Gau Mata and implement a complete ban on cow slaughter.
The series of events concluded with participants taking a collective pledge to continue their efforts until the demand is fulfilled. The growing participation across different regions indicates that the campaign is steadily gaining momentum, with organizers expressing confidence that sustained public support will help bring their demand into national focus.
