Influenced by the policies, ideology, commitment to cow protection, and public welfare issues of the Jammu & Kashmir unit of Shiv Sena (UBT), nearly a dozen Muslim cow protectors formally joined the party.
At a programme held at the party’s provincial central office, State President Manish Sahni and Sanjay Bhatt (Kashmir In-charge) warmly welcomed all the new members into the Shiv Sena family by presenting them with the Shiv Bandhan and the party symbol.
Speaking on the occasion, the leaders said that the joining of Muslim cow protectors from Kashmir is clear evidence that Shiv Sena’s ideology is rooted in social harmony, public welfare, cultural respect, and the principle of taking every community along. This support reflects the growing trust and acceptance of the party’s policies among all sections of society.
During the event, party workers also pledged to work towards the establishment of a gaushala in Kashmir.
Those who joined the party today included Mohammad Rafiq Sofi, Feroz Ahmad, Shakeel Ahmad Dar, Mohammad Shabeen Ganiya, Bashir Ahmad, and Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, along with their supporters.
In the same sequence, the organisation also expanded in Bandipora, Kashmir, where dozens of local leaders and social workers joined Shiv Sena during a programme led by Mushtaq Ahmad Akhoon (Executive President, Kashmir) and Muhammad Ashraf (District President).
State President Manish Sahni said that this growing public support is the result of Shiv Sena’s people-centric policies, social commitment, and firm resolve to carry every section of society along. He expressed confidence that in the coming time, the organisation will grow stronger across Jammu & Kashmir and emerge as the voice of the people.
On the occasion, Raju Kapoor (Vice Chairman) and Aditya Mahajan (Vice President) were also present.
