Neelam Langeh, President of BJP SC Morcha, J&K, and former MLA, vehemently criticized the successive regimes led by NC and Congress for depriving various sections of their rights. Speaking at an event in Ward No. 51 of Jammu South, organized under the aegis of the Scheduled Caste Morcha, Langeh who is also the coordinator of the Scheduled Caste Campaign Committee for parliamentary elections, highlighted the achievements of the Modi government’s Jan Kalyan Yojanas (People’s Welfare Schemes) and disseminated information about them to the local residents. Asserting the goal of achieving a Congress and NC-free Jammu and Kashmir, Langeh stated, “Making Jammu and Kashmir free from the clutches of NC and Congress is not just a slogan but a determination of the people to make the Union Territory corruption-free and liberate it from dynastic political parties that have exploited the common people and done little for development and progress in J&K.”
Langeh emphasized the historical struggle and sacrifices made by BJP leaders over the past 70 years to abrogate Article 370, which aimed to revive democracy and provide democratic rights to women, Scheduled Castes, PoJK refugees, Gujjars, and others. The senior BJP leader praised the courage and historic decision of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government to abrogate Article 370 and 35A, stating that it has opened up numerous opportunities and restored the cultural and traditional glory of Jammu and Kashmir.
