Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta graced the Christmas celebrations organized by Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, Jammu. The joyous event, held in the school premises, witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and teachers, marking the festive spirit of unity and joy.
Kavinder Gupta was warmly welcomed by Principal Rameshwar Mengi, staff members, and students of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta extended his heartfelt Christmas wishes to the students and encouraged them to follow the path of compassion, kindness, and integrity. He also lauded the management of Shiksha Niketan for fostering an environment that promotes academic excellence, cultural values, and all-round development of students. “Schools like Shiksha Niketan are pivotal in shaping the future of our nation by nurturing young minds with quality education and moral values,” he added.
Kavinder also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives dedicated to the welfare of children, including the declaration of ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ in memory of the Chaar Sahibzaade of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He emphasized that such a gesture reflects the nation’s respect for their unparalleled sacrifice and serves as a source of inspiration for generations to come.
The event featured vibrant cultural performances by students, including Christmas carols, skits, and dances, spreading festive cheer and showcasing the talents of the young participants.
The program concluded with the distribution of gifts and sweets, adding to the joy of the celebration.
