Senior BJP leader Rekha Mahajan today called upon people to wholeheartedly support and promote ‘Made in India’ products in every aspect of life — from daily essentials to special occasions. She was addressing a meeting at Gaddigarh Mandal in Jammu South, organized by Mamdal President Pushkar Sharma .
Speaking passionately, Rekha Mahajan said, “We must align ourselves with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who in today’s Mann Ki Baat episode stressed on the importance of going Vocal for Local. Whether it’s buying toys for children, gifts, shopping for weddings, planning vacations, or organizing events — we should consciously choose Indian products and destinations.” She emphasized that adopting this approach is not just an act of patriotism but a direct contribution to India’s economic growth and self-reliance. “When we support local artisans, manufacturers, and service providers, we help generate employment, uplift communities, and fortify the foundation of Atmanirbhar Bharat,” she added. Rekha Mahajan encouraged the people of Jammu, especially the youth and homemakers, to become ambassadors of the ‘Made in India’ movement, and inspire others to take pride in Indian craftsmanship and innovation.
“The real change begins with us. Every purchase we make can become a vote for India’s prosperity. Let us stand united and turn this movement into a mass revolution for economic independence,” she concluded.
The meeting saw enthusiastic participation from party workers and local residents, all expressing their commitment to follow the Prime Minister’s vision and support Indian products in all walks of life.
