Students from remote regions of Jammu and Kashmir touring New Delhi and Dehradun courtesy army sponsored tour visited Indian Military Academy (IMA) at Dehradun. “The aura of the Indian Military Academy and Gentleman Cadets undergoing training there mesmerized these students and teachers who were visiting such an elite institution for the first time,” PRO Defence Lt Col Devender Anand said. The students were taken to the Kheterpal Auditorium and were shown “Making of Warrior” movie which made a great impact in motivating the students. The students thereafter underwent a guided tour of Indian Military Academy to include Chetwood Building, Hoshiyar Singh Gymasium, War Memorial, Salaria Swimming Pool and Vikram Batra Mess. The students also interacted with Officiating Commandant, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. During the interaction, Officiating Commandant exhorted them to join the Indian Armed Forces and serve the nation in the noblest manner.
