The ongoing National Art Workshop “Jashan-e-Bahar,” organised by the Master Sansar Chand Baru Memorial Charitable Trust (MSCBMC Trust) in collaboration with 11 Rashtriya Rifles at TRC Chatroo, entered its second day with vibrant participation and creative expression.
Day 2 of the workshop witnessed enthusiastic involvement of students, who actively participated in a unique outdoor activity by painting rocks along the roadside, transforming the area into a colourful artistic stretch.
The initiative not only showcased their creativity but also added aesthetic value to the surroundings.
Renowned national-level artists including Shalender Singh (Delhi), Aditya Shankar Prasad (Noida), P. Devaraj (Tamil Nadu), Sharmila Sharma (Delhi), Govind Vishwas (Gujarat), and Apurba Karati (Amtala, West Bengal) guided the participants, encouraging them to experiment with colours and themes reflecting nature, culture, and harmony.
Personnel from 11 Rashtriya Rifles also joined the event, encouraging students and contributing to the spirit of collaboration between the armed forces and civil society.
President of MSCBMC Trust, Anuradha Rishi, appreciated the active participation of students and highlighted the importance of such creative engagements. She said the workshop continues to serve as a platform for nurturing young talent and promoting cultural expression.
The multi-day workshop, themed “With Colours,” is witnessing growing enthusiasm with each passing day, bringing together students, artists, and the local community in a celebration of art, creativity, and unity.
