Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Doda Dhananter Singh Kotwal, alongside Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh chaired a public outreach program at Panchayat Manthala in Block Bhaderwah as part of the ongoing Block Diwas program. The event witnessed significant participation from senior officials and a large gathering of local residents.
Among the Officers present were Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Doda, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Doda, Executive Engineer (Xen) PHE, Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO), PDD, Tehsildar, Block Development Officer (BDO), Education and among others officers and officials attended the block diwas. During the event, the DDC Chairman and DC inspected stalls set up by various departments, showcasing government schemes and services available to the public.
The public raised key demands related to repair and maintenance of educational institutions, completion of PMGSY roads, improvement of water and power supply, upgradation of healthcare facilities, particularly the Primary Health Centre (PHC), implementation of schemes under MGNREGA, access to financial services under SBI rural initiatives, better outreach for social welfare, agriculture, and horticulture schemes. DDC Chairman emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring holistic development across all Panchayats.
He assured the public that their concerns would be addressed promptly and urged them to actively participate in development initiatives.
DC highlighted the significance of Block Diwas in bridging the gap between the administration and the public. He urged the officers to prioritize public grievances and expedite the resolution process.
He also reiterated the district administration’s focus on enhancing infrastructure, education, healthcare, and welfare schemes to improve the quality of life for all residents.
