Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, was presented with a unique pictorial artwork titled “Pride of Peacock is Glory of India” on October 14 at the Raj Bhawan in Srinagar.
The artwork was gifted by Sh. Harpreet Sandhu, an esteemed author, environmentalist, nature artist, and former Additional Advocate General of Punjab.
Sandhu, known for his contributions to environmental awareness and nature conservation, highlighted the significance of the peacock, which symbolizes India’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage.
The artwork is a celebration of the majestic peacock, representing the country’s natural pride and glory.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha appreciated the artistic efforts of Harpreet Sandhu, acknowledging the value of such art in raising awareness about the environment and India’s natural beauty.
The gesture further strengthened the emphasis on preserving nature and the cultural symbols that define India’s identity.
