Urges Party cadre to strengthen hands of Dr Farooq, Omar Abdullah

Sunil Verma, District President of J&K National Conference, today announced the dissolution of the District Body with immediate effect.
This decision was made during a meeting held in Udhampur, wherein Sunil Verma also provided updates regarding the formation of all Block Committees in the district and preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
During the meeting, Sunil Verma informed the attendees that the Block Committees have already been constituted in Udhampur District. In the following weeks, a new district committee will be formed based on the consent and recommendations of the new Block Presidents, keeping in mind the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Subsequently, Sunil Verma also announced the formation of the new Block Committee of Pancheri Block. Bishan Das Sharma was appointed as the Block President, Rattan Lal Sharma as the Vice President, and Krishan Das, a retired teacher, as the Block Secretary.
Sunil Verma urged the newly appointed Block Presidents to prepare for the upcoming polls and promptly constitute their respective panchayat, halqa, and ward committees.
He also appealed to all party members to maintain discipline and contribute towards strengthening the J&K National Conference under the guidance of Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah Sahab, and the party as a whole.
The Block Committee was constituted in presence of Ch. Abdul Rashid, Channa Ram Sethi, Sh. Amar Nath (Block President Jib Thathi), Capt. Rattan Singh (Block President Majalta), Manmohan Verma (Block President Tikri), Bishan Das (Block President Udhampur), Om Parkash (Block President City Udhampur), Akash Verma (Senior Youth Leader), Sajad Ahmed (District President YNC Udhampur), and Sudesh Kumar (District Secretary YNC Udhampur).
