Kavinder, Pathania listens to public grievances in BJP headquarter

Grievance redressal at BJP headquarters, Jammu, was conducted by Kavinder Gupta, former Dy CM & Ranbir Singh Pathania, former MLA & J&K BJP Spokesperson.
Deputation of All VRS/retired, J&K SRTC Employees canvassed demands for Grant of COLA, DA, and Arrears of 6th Pay Commission. They expressed their concerns over the delay in disbursement of essential allowances and the long-overdue arrears owed to them under the 6th Pay Commission.
Speaking on behalf of the SRTC employees, Dav Raj Bali, emphasized the critical importance of these allowances and arrears in sustaining the livelihoods of the employees, particularly in the face of rising inflation and economic challenges. “We have been patient for far too long, enduring financial strain and uncertainty. The time has come for the authorities to fulfill their commitments and ensure that the rightful entitlements of SRTC employees are promptly disbursed.” Despite their unwavering commitment and blemishless service, they stressed the need for their concerns to be addressed without further delay. The demand for the grant of COLA, DA, and arrears of the 6th Pay Commission reflects the collective sentiment of the SRTC employees, who seek fair treatment and recognition of their contributions to the state’s public transport system. The representatives of the employees urged the concerned authorities to prioritize their demands and take immediate action to resolve the ongoing issues, thereby ensuring the welfare and morale of the workforce. The J&K SRTC employees remain steadfast in their pursuit of justice and fairness, and they look forward to a positive response from the relevant authorities to alleviate their financial hardships and uphold their rights. A deputation of NYCs led by Ishfaq & Arjun Sharma called for rolling out a comprehensive regularization policy as well as honorarium enhancement.
Amongst other general issues pertaining to developmental works in Reasi, permission cases in Greater Kailash area of Jammu, compassionate appointments, ex-gratia to accident victims, relief to cross-firing victims, drinking water, building permissions, staff shortage, proper voltage electricity, NABARD roads were projected by a number of deputations who called on in the BJP office with references and telephone calls to concerned officials.
