A police party of PS Bahu Fort led by SHO PS Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali while on naka duty in Shiv Market, area under the jurisdiction of PS Bahu Fort, rounded up two suspects namely Romesh Chander S/O Thinu R/O Katra A/P Nanak Nagar, Jammu and Sandeep Kumar S/O Romesh Chander R/O Akhnoor A/P Panama Chowk, Jammu. During search, 94 bottles of illicit liquor i.e 82 bottles of 180ml and 12 bottles of old monk 750 ml each were recovered from them.On this Case FIR No. 25/2022 U/S 48(a) Excise Act got registered at PS Bahu Fort and accused got arrested. The overall arrests and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
