Tourism Department today organized an All Ladies Evening here at Jammu Tawi Golf club.
Dr Manu Bhatnagar inaugurated the Event by lightening the lamp in Commissioner Secretary Social Welfare Sheetal Nanda and other women officers.
On occasion, a variety of music and dance programme was presented by artists, which was highly applauded by the audience.
While giving details of the Event, Sukriti Sharma GM JKTDC, in her welcome address, said that hosting this program aimed to highlight womanhood and appreciate the women achievers.
Meanwhile, a panel discussion was also held on ‘changing stereotype, celebrating womanhood.’
Panellists among Shwetima Jamwal RJ/Programing Head Jammu Radio Mirchi 98.3 Kritika Khanna, India’s First Female Para Rower, Vijaya Thakur Educationist President Awardee Poetess and renowned writer, Sunita, a Young Entrepreneur and Sarpanch Birpur Veena Jamwal expressed their views on the occasion.
