Srinagar Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Friday set-up help-lines for general categories of patients requiring medical attention and relevant facilities. It has opened four helpline numbers which patients can call to seek help as required. The help-lines can be contacted at: 9622447979, 7889709170, 7006769646 and 6005834314.
Cancer patients, patients with kidney ailments and requiring dialysis support and diabetic patients can call on these numbers to register their need for medical advice or assistance. Patients can also call these help-lines for other kinds of urgent assistance like life saving medicines not available in the market and ambulance services. People can call or text their requirements on the numbers. Today, over 50 calls were received and answered.
