Samba police organises free medical camp

Samba police organized a free Ayurvedic Medical Aid and Awareness camp for its jawans at District Police Lines, Samba. Dr. Vandhana Dogra (Nodal Officer) and Dr.Nishpank (Medical Officer) delivered a lecture on the basic protective measures against the Corona virus pandemic at DPL Samba which was attended by the officers/jawans of Samba Police. During the interaction, the guest speaker laid emphasis to follow “Do’s and Dont’s” issued by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and Health and Medical Education Department J&K viz washing hands frequently, cover your nose and mouth with handkerchief and tissue while sneezing & coughing, avoid participating in large gathering, avoid close contact with anyone, avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth. The team of five Ayurvedic pharmacist along with two ayurvedic doctors properly made check-up of jawans and also provided them free medicines to boost their immunity against the spread of Coronavirus. At the conclusion, Dy SP, DAR Samba Chhabil Singh presented a vote of thanks to the whole team of Ayurvedic doctors and pharmacist for elaborately explaining the basic precautionary measures against Corona virus and makes the Jawans aware about it.
