Senior BJP leader and former minister Bali Bhagat launched a scathing attack on the AAP leadership and INDI alliance partners, accusing them of trying to spread anarchy in India and destabilise the Modi government.
Bhagat alleged that AAP MP Sanjay Singh has been repeatedly referring to Nepal’s internal situation to create confusion in India, while the party’s Doda MLA openly supported terrorist organisation Lashkar (LeT) and even glorified Burhan Wani, a dreaded terrorist neutralised by security forces in Anantnag. “He even declared Burhan Wani as his idol, which is shameful and dangerous,” Bhagat said.
The BJP leader warned that no one, not even a Chief Minister, will be spared if they attempt to give open calls to terrorist organisations.
“If anyone tries to disturb the restored peace in Jammu and Kashmir, they will be put behind the bars under the PSA to safeguard the sovereignty and dignity of the country. Nothing stands above national security,” he stressed.
Bhagat further criticised Mehbooba Mufti and others who have been demanding the release of such individuals, saying that supporting those who glorify terrorists is equally a threat to national security.
Recalling events during the 2024 Assembly elections, Bhagat alleged that AAP MP Sanjay Singh attempted to communalise the atmosphere in Doda, but the people of Doda, both Hindus and Muslims, remained peace-loving and upheld their tradition of brotherhood. He accused AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, along with Sanjay Singh, of conspiring and directing their Doda MLA to glorify Burhan Wani and encourage youth to join terror ranks.

“This open glorification of LeT and Burhan Wani, endorsed by AAP leaders, is not spontaneous- it reeks of deep state designs. Just like Nepal’s recent emergency, such forces are attempting to destabilise democracy from within,” Bhagat said, urging people to stay vigilant against AAP’s dangerous agenda.
Concluding, he asserted, “No institution is above national security. Nation comes first. Those indulging in anti-national activities or glorifying terrorism will not be spared, whosoever they may be.”
