A general body meeting of the All India Jat Mahasabha (AIJMS) was held today under the leadership of Ch. Manmohan Singh, President AIJMS and former Mayor of Jammu. The meeting saw active participation from community members, who discussed various pressing issues and challenges facing the Jat community.
Ch. Manmohan Singh emphasized the need for the community to address the growing menace of drug abuse and other societal evils that are endangering the future of the youth. He urged parents, particularly mothers, to play a proactive role in guiding their children.
“A mother is the best teacher for her child. If our children are well-educated and morally sound, only then will they be able to rise in society and bring pride to our community,” he stated.
Ch Manmohan Singh stressed the importance of focusing on education as the key to community progress. “The education of our children should be our top priority. Only when they are educated and empowered can our community achieve its rightful place in society,” he added.
He further encouraged community members to remain united, especially in the current election climate, advising them to carefully select deserving candidates who are committed to addressing the community’s basic issues. “We should not let our votes be divided. Let our senior community members shortlist capable candidates, and then we must collectively support them,” Singh urged.
Sunil Choudhary, Tehsil President, who organized today’s meeting, also called on the community to unite and work collectively for the rights and welfare of the general public.
Other speakers applauded the tireless efforts of the AIJMS under the leadership of Ch.
