The Home Department of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has transferred and posted some IPS officers. ADGP Coordination Police Headquarters Jammu and Kashmir Danish Rana has been given additional charge of Commandant General Home Guards and SDRF till further orders.
At the same time, after IPS Bhim Sen Tuti got one year study leave, the Home Department has also approved sending him on deputation to do a Master of Public Policy course at London School of Economics and Political Science UK. Likewise, SSP Armed PCR Kashmir Sheikh Junaid Mahmood has been sent to Ladakh on deputation till further orders.
In another order, the Home Department sent SSP Leh Rajiv Om Prakash Pandey on deputation to NIA in four years and sent SSP CID Jammu Sridhar Patil to Ladakh. As a result, Rajeev Om Prakash Pandey will be appointed as SP in NIA.
