BARI BRAHMANA: Dogra Degree College– The Institution’s Innovation Cell (IIC) of Dogra Degree College organized a guest lecture at Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana on the topic “Lean Start-up and Minimum Viable Products/Business.” This lecture is part of Dogra Degree College’s continuous efforts to promote innovation, efficiency, and best practices in educational settings. We believe it will be of immense value to both students and faculty.
The lecture aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the principles of lean start-ups and the development of minimum viable products (MVPs). These concepts are crucial for aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators, helping them to create efficient, scalable, and successful business models. The session was conducted by two esteemed speakers – Mr. Sorab Mengi – Assistant Manager, who covered the fundamental principles of lean start-ups, focusing on developing adaptable business models that minimize waste and maximize customer value, and Ms. Shiwani Sharma – Assistant Faculty, JKEDI.
Shiwani Sharma focused on the concept of MVPs, explaining how to develop products with essential features to attract early customers and gather critical feedback for future development.
The Objectives of the Lecture were to make students aware of concepts and principles of lean start-ups, the importance and methodology of creating minimum viable products, students and faculty to adopt innovative and efficient practices, and to provide practical knowledge and strategies that can be applied in real-world scenarios.
The lecture was designed to empower students and faculty by equipping them with essential tools and knowledge for entrepreneurial success. The insights provided by Mr. Sorab Mengi and Ms. Shiwani Sharma were invaluable for those looking to innovate and implement efficient business practices. Anshika Vaid, BBA student, delivered the vote of thanks. She expressed gratitude to the resource persons, the organizing team, and the attendees for making the event a success.
