Model Academy organises Hubs of Learning programme

Model Academy recently organized Hubs of Learning programme, aiming to foster collaborative skills among teachers. The event saw participation from esteemed institutions like Army Public School, Jammu Cantt, Regional Research Laboratory School, Air Force School, Army Public School, Domana, and Model Academy itself.
Notable attendees included Mrs. Rupa Gupta, Joint Director of MIER, Mr. P.K. Srivastava, Principal, and Mr. J.K. Dhiman, Vice Principal. Special invitees were Mrs. Pushpinder Kaur, Principal of APS, Domana, and Mrs. Puneet Kaur, Principal of APS, Jammu Cantt. The programme was attended by 20 faculty members from the partner schools.
“Hubs Of Learning” and initiative launched by CBSE is a concept that provides a common platform aimed at embedding best practices and ideas in school communities, and to encourage the professional development of teachers, mobilise teachers, parents, students and other community partners, bring together expertise for the improvement of all stakeholders, experience joyful learning, and create educational leadership that collaborates at all levels for accelerating improvement.
Through engaging PowerPoint presentations, teachers delved into topics such as developing teaching potential, fostering high self-esteem, nurturing a mindset conducive to child development, and the pivotal role of teachers in value education. The collaborative atmosphere facilitated by partnerships between various schools promised an ecosystem conducive to effective work and growth.
Dr.Adit Gupta, Director MIER, emphasized the importance of collaboration in exposing educators to best practices and enabling the adoption or adaptation of these practices.
Mr. P.K. Srivastava welcomed the initiative, highlighting its potential to facilitate the exchange of diverse ideas, thus enhancing classroom practices, and fostering continuous professional development among teachers. In his closing remarks, Mr. J.K. Dhiman advised teachers to implement the discussed strategies for cultivating a healthy and harmonious classroom environment.
The event was expertly introduced by Mrs. Manju Vali and efficiently coordinated by Mukul Arora, Priyanka Malhotra, Nisha Arora, Disha Sethi, and Sakshi Sharma, with technical support provided by Amisha Mehta. Overall, it proved to be an enriching learning experience for all involved.
