Dogra Degree College proudly announces that one of its NCC cadets, Mohammad Kaif, participated in the prestigious Republic Day Parade (RDP) 2026 held in New Delhi. He represented the institution with honour and distinction at this national event.
The intensive training camp for the Republic Day Parade was conducted from 26 December 2025 to 29 January 2026,where he exhibited exemplary discipline, dedication, and commitment. His efforts culminated in his participation in the grand parade on 26 January 2026, where he was entrusted with the honourable role of Prime Minister’s Rally Guard and Flag Area Presentation. He executed his duties with precision and excellence, earning a medal for the Prime Minister’s Rally, a badge for Flag Area Presentation, and a certificate of participation in the Republic Day Parade 2026.
A total of 127 NCC Cadets from across India were selected for the Republic Day Parade 2026, and Cadet Mohammad Kaif was among this elite group, bringing immense pride not only to Dogra Degree College but also to its NCC unit and the entire region.
Upon his return, the college organized a special felicitation ceremony to honour his achievement. Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, presided over the event and commended Cadet Kaif for his outstanding accomplishment. He was joined by Mr. R.S. Katal, Member, Advisory Committee and Governing Body, DDC, Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal, Dogra Degree College, Dr. Dharamveer Sharma, Dean, DGC, Dr. Gitika Sehgal, Coordinator, DET; and Mr. Rakesh Mohan Koul, Program Incharge, BBA & BCom, all of whom extended their heartfelt appreciation and best wishes.
They praised his dedication and described his achievement as a source of inspiration for all NCC cadets and students. The college administration expressed confidence that such recognitions will continue to motivate students to actively engage in NCC activities and serve the nation with pride, discipline, and patriotism.
