A deputation of villagers from the Ramgarh Municipal limits in Vijaypur area of Samba district today called on the Executive Engineer (XEN), Public Works Department (PWD), at Vijaypur.The deputation was led by the Apni Party’s Provincial President, Jammu, and former Minister, S. Manjit Singh, who was accompanied by residents of Ward Nos. 9 and 10 (Shekhupura and Palota villages), Ramgarh. S. Manjit Singh and the villagers met the XEN PWD at his Vijaypur office and apprised him of the developmental issues being faced by the people in the above-mentioned wards.
The former Minister informed that the authorities had started the construction of a nallah along the Ramgarh–Nanga road.
However, the work was abandoned without completing it further for about 500 metres, which requires immediate attention from the concerned authorities, S. Manjit Singh said while speaking to the XEN PWD Vijaypur.
The PWD XEN assured that he would take necessary steps to address the issues raised by the former Minister.
The deputation consisted of Adv. Sahil Bharti, Block President Ramgarh Bachan Choudhary, Capt. Mohan Lal Sharma, Ex-Capt. Baljit Singh, Sardar Mohan Singh, and others.
