Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar Jammu, in collaboration with Government Medical College Jammu, conducted multispecialty Medical Camp for Public Awareness, Diagnostic and Treatment; On 3rd of February 2026 (Tuesday), from 11:00 am to 2:30 PM, in the School premises.This Medical Camp was held in the divine memory of Late Shri Kuldip Kumar Badyal, who served as Principal, Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu from May 1997 to Feb 1999 and attained martyrdom in the line of duty on 03.02.1999.Dr. Vishal R. Tandon, Professor (Chairperson SRDC), was the chief Coordinator of this Camp. The Camp was organized by the members of Badyal family and the Medical fraternity of GMC Jammu, represented by Dr Suman Kotwal, Head, Department of Endocrinology, Dr. Ashima Badyal, Associate Professor, Department of Biochemistry, Dr. Pankaj Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, Dr. Anil Padha, Endocrinologist, Dr. Baljeet Singh, Senior Resident, Department of Medicine (Gastro), Dr. Varun Gupta, Senior Resident, Department of Medicine (Gastro), and various other Medical students and postgraduates from GMC Jammu. All the family members of Late Sh Kuldip Kumar Badyal: Smt Kamlesh Badyal (Wife), Sh Ashish Badyal, AEE PDD (Son), Dr Ashima Badyal, Associate Professor, GMC Jammu (Daughter), Smt Priya, Education Dept. (Daugher in Law), BJP Spokesperson Keshav Chopra and Ar Vivek Sagar Sharma, Skill Development Dept. (Son-in-Law), were present on the occasion and worked tirelessly to make this Camp a success.The event was a therefore unique collaboration of sorts with Medical specialists from the fields of Medicine, Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Metabolic Disorders, Thyroid and Cardio-vascular diseases from GMC Jammu, who came together to be a part of this Medical Camp, while more than 300 patients attended the camp on the given day.
