The damage to crops has added to the financial burden of farmers, who have taken loans to cultivate their crops.
Many farmers are not aware of the benefits of crop insurance, which could help them mitigate their losses.
Kesri demanded government should conduct an immediate assessment of the damage caused to crops.

The government should provide compensation to the affected farmers. The government should educate farmers about crop insurance and provide them with necessary support to avail its benefits.
