A significant meeting was held today at Gau Mata Chowk, Amphalla (Jammu) to discuss how to ensure the protection of Gau Mata (Mother Cow) and strengthen collective efforts for her safety.
The meeting was chaired by members of Movement Kalki and attended by representatives of Gau Rakshak Organization, Karni Sena, Movement Kalki, and members of the Saint community. The key focus of the discussion was on imposing a complete ban on cow slaughter and cow smuggling across the country.
Pandit Madan Gopal Ji, Spiritual Advisor of Movement Kalki, said, “Protecting Gau Mata is equivalent to protecting Dharma and the Nation. The government, trapped in the politics of notes and votes, has failed to take real steps for cow protection. It is the duty of saints to unite society and work tirelessly for the preservation of Dharma and Gau Mata.”
Arjun Singh, President of Karni Sena, stated, “We have repeatedly warned and appealed to the government, but they remain in deep sleep. If the situation does not change, strict action must be taken against those who harm cows. Although it is the government’s responsibility, now we all must unite and take this fight forward.”
Kushal Sharma, President of the Gau Rakshak Organization, said, “At Panjgrain, the cowshed built by the Municipal Corporation still refuses to accommodate street and rescued cows, which is unfortunate. A meeting will soon be held with DC Jammu, Municipal Commissioner, SSP Jammu, and Traffic SP to address this issue.”
Advisor Pritam Sharma of Movement Kalki stated that a Joint Action Committee will be formed with the consensus of all participants. This committee will bring together key representatives from all communities and religious organizations to coordinate efforts. The committee’s mandate will be to ensure that until Gau Mata receives proper protection, and until laws are enacted and the Sanatan Board is established, the government—particularly the BJP administration—will be pressured to fulfill its responsibility and enact strict laws for the protection of cows.
The meeting concluded with a unanimous decision to take collective and organized action for the protection of Gau Mata and to stop cow smuggling, with Movement Kalki, Karni Sena, Gau Rakshak Organization, and Saint community members jointly leading the efforts.
